Orders & Delivery
How long does delivery take across New Zealand?
Standard NZ delivery typically takes 2-5 business days for the North Island and 3-7 for the South Island. We use CourierPost and NZ Post. Overnight delivery is available at additional cost. Rural areas may take 1-2 extra days. A tracking link will be emailed after dispatch.
Is delivery really free?
Yes! Free standard NZ-wide delivery on all orders over $1000. Orders under $1000 attract a flat $9.99 fee. Express shipping is $14.99. Some large or bulky items (servers, large monitors) may have an additional surcharge shown at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once dispatched you will receive a tracking number via email. Track it on the CourierPost or NZ Post website. If you haven't received a tracking email within 24 hours of ordering, please check your spam folder or contact us.
What happens if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours at support@syntralyntech.nz or call 0800 SYNTECH (0800 796 8324). We will arrange a replacement or full refund. Please keep all original packaging as it may be needed for the return courier.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy. Items must be returned in original unopened packaging. Software, digital licences, and items with broken seals are non-refundable unless faulty. For faulty items, our policy extends to the full manufacturer warranty period under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
How do I start a return?
Email returns@syntralyntech.nz with your order number and reason for return. Our team responds within 1 business day with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number and instructions. Do not send items back without an RMA number. Return courier costs are covered by us for faulty items.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is issued. Funds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
Warranty & Repairs
Are products sold with NZ warranties?
Yes. As an authorised NZ reseller, all products carry genuine New Zealand manufacturer warranties. We only stock NZ product from authorised distribution channels - no grey market imports.
What does the no-fix, no-fee guarantee cover?
Our no-fix, no-fee guarantee applies to all repair jobs where we accept the device for diagnosis. If we cannot repair your device, you pay nothing - not even the diagnostic fee. If we can repair it, we provide a quote before starting any work. The guarantee covers hardware faults; software services have a fixed fee.
How long does a repair take?
Diagnostics are usually same-day. Screen replacements and battery swaps: 1-2 days. Data recovery and complex motherboard repairs: 3-7 days. We give you a realistic estimate at booking and keep you updated throughout.
Custom PC Builds
How does the custom PC build process work?
Use our online PC configurator or contact us with your requirements and budget. We source the components, confirm availability and provide a final quote. Upon payment, we assemble and stress-test your build for a minimum of 8 hours before shipping. Your PC arrives with all cables, manuals, and a build spec sheet.
What warranty do custom builds come with?
All custom builds come with a 2-year Syntralyn Technologies build warranty. Individual components also carry their own manufacturer warranties (CPUs, GPUs, and SSDs typically 3-5 years). We handle all warranty claims on your behalf.
Trade & Business
Who can apply for a trade account?
Any registered NZ business, government agency, school, or organisation. Trade accounts offer volume pricing, 30-day invoicing (subject to credit approval), a dedicated account manager, and priority stock access. Apply via our Trade Account page.
Is GST included in your prices?
All prices displayed include 15% GST unless stated otherwise. GST-exclusive pricing is available for trade account holders and displayed in your account dashboard. Tax invoices are issued automatically with every order.
